Dan Gordon is a pioneering force in American craft brewing and co-founder of Gordon Biersch Brewery. The first American in more than 40 years to earn a brewing engineering degree from the Technical University of Munich at Weihenstephan, he brought German brewing tradition to California when Gordon Biersch opened in Palo Alto in 1988. Today, as CEO and Director of Brewing, Dan leads operations at the company’s San Jose facility, pairing technical expertise with an enduring commitment to quality, innovation, and authentic German-style lagers.
